Group Therapy

Welcome to AA

Many times, when attending your first few meetings, a group may offer you an envelope that is traditionally referred to as a “Newcomer Packet.”

Here are a collection of informational materials geared toward the new or prospective member of AA. We have linked to digital versions of the most commonly shared materials for your reference:

Should you desire to explore more information for newcomers to the fellowship, Alcoholics Anonymous’ World Services provides a wealth of additional materials on its website. You will find more free content for newcomers at this link, which will take you directly to their site.

Should you wish to obtain a newcomer packet in person or have questions about obtaining materials you find on the AA World Services site, or need to talk to someone about AA, you can contact us.

Contributions

Contributions to the Intergroup Association of Fairfield County (IAFC) support services to our members and groups throughout Lower Fairfield County and help ensure that the A.A. message is carried in our region. In keeping with our Seventh Tradition, we ask that you only contribute if you are a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Intergroup accepts checks, and donations can also be made via Venmo and PayPal.

Checks should be made payable to Intergroup Association of Fairfield County (IAFC is ok, too), and mailed to IAFC, PO Box 1605, Darien, CT 06820

Our Venmo account handle is @Intergroup_FairfieldCounty
